Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 October 2026

This policy explains how Free Forever Converter (https://freeforeverconverter.com), run by Diego Callegari in the Netherlands, handles your data. In short: your files never leave your device, and we only use cookies for advertising if you allow it.

Your files stay on your device

All conversions on this website run inside your web browser. The text and files you convert are not uploaded to our servers and we cannot see them. A draft of the text you are working on may be stored in your browser's local storage so it is still there when you come back; you can remove it with the Clear button or by clearing your browser data.

Advertising

This website is funded by advertising provided by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can learn how Google uses this information at Google's partner sites policy and manage personalised advertising at Google Ad Settings.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. We use:

• Necessary storage — your browser's local storage keeps your draft text in the ChatGPT to Word tool. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. No consent is needed for this.
• Advertising cookies — set by Google and its partners to show, measure and (if you allow it) personalise ads. In the EU, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first through a consent banner, and you can change your choice at any time via the privacy settings link that the banner provides.

We don't use our own tracking or analytics cookies. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Analytics and logs

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and see which pages are popular. It doesn't use cookies, doesn't track you across websites and doesn't build a profile of you. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may also process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type and the pages you visit, to deliver the website securely. None of this ever includes the contents of your files.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct or delete personal data we hold about you, and to object to its use. Because we don't receive your files and don't run accounts, we hold very little personal data. If you email us, we only use your message to reply. You can also file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

We may update this policy. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
