Terms of Use
Last updated: 15 October 2026
These terms apply to your use of Free Forever Converter (https://freeforeverconverter.com), run by Diego Callegari in the Netherlands (“we”, “us”). By using the website you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the website.
1. The service
Free Forever Converter offers free online tools to convert files. The conversions run in your own web browser; your files are not uploaded to our servers. The service is free of charge and is funded by advertising.
2. Your files and your responsibility
- You keep all rights to the files you convert. We don't receive them and claim no rights to them.
- Only convert files you are allowed to use. You are responsible for respecting copyright and other rights.
- Keep a copy of your original files. Some conversions are lossy, and we can't recover files for you.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the website for anything illegal;
- try to disrupt, overload or break the website, or access it with automated tools in a way that harms it;
- copy or republish the website or its content as your own.
4. No warranty
The tools are provided “as is” and “as available”. We do our best to make them accurate and reliable, but we don't guarantee that every conversion is correct, complete or suitable for your purpose, or that the website is always available and free of errors.
5. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damage resulting from the use of, or the inability to use, the website or its conversions, including loss of data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Dutch law.
6. Advertising and links
The website shows advertisements, including ads served by Google. We are not responsible for the content of ads or of third-party websites we link to. See our Privacy & Cookie Policy for how advertising uses cookies.
7. Intellectual property
The website's design, texts and code are owned by us or our licensors. Open-source components are used under their own licences, including splat-transform by PlayCanvas (MIT), pdf-lib (MIT), pdf.js by Mozilla (Apache-2.0), jSquash/libjxl and oxipng (Apache-2.0), Tesseract.js (Apache-2.0), three.js (MIT), gifenc, gifuct-js and mp4-muxer (MIT), ImageTracer (public domain), marked (MIT), docx (MIT), and two LGPL-3.0 libraries that are loaded unmodified as separate files: libheif via heic-to (source: github.com/strukturag/libheif) and lamejs (source: github.com/zhuker/lamejs).
8. Changes
We may change the tools or these terms at any time. The latest version is always on this page, with the date it was last updated.
9. Applicable law
These terms are governed by Dutch law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live.
