Why Claude answers need converting
Claude writes long, well-structured answers in Markdown — headings, tables, code and often LaTeX math. Pasting that
into Word keeps the symbols (##, |, **) instead of the formatting. This converter
turns it into a real Word document with proper styles.
What gets converted
- Math formulas (LaTeX such as
\frac{a}{b},x^2,\sqrt{x}, sums and integrals) become real, editable Word equations — not images and not raw code. - Headings become Word Heading 1–3 styles, so the navigation pane and a table of contents work.
- Tables become real Word tables with column alignment.
- Numbered and bulleted lists, including nested lists, checklists and lists that continue after a code block.
- Code blocks in a monospace font with syntax colours (Python, JavaScript, SQL, Java, C#, and more).
- Bold, italic, strikethrough, links, quotes and horizontal lines.
Under Document settings you can pick A4 or US Letter, the text size and line spacing, and add a table of contents and page numbers.
